Followed from the perspective of a crane, a frantic speck struggles against oblivion. Two stark poles of the bird’s habitat frame this dance: Andalusian shores, not far from Montenmedio, where refugees mimic the ghosts of war, and windswept Eastern German fields, etched with a grandmother's childhood memory of her flight while watching her sister's silent fall.
